School Capacity Calculator
Use this School Calculator tool to estimate a school's capacity to do online testing. Identify quantities for three of the components and the calculator will advise you of the remaining quantity. Use the tool to play out different scenarios for the number of student test administrations, or the number of computers available for KCA testing, or the number of daily test sessions, or the number of days available/allowed for KCA testing. As you change quantities, click the "Calculate..." button to review the impact of changes.
* Indicate the total number of student test administrations desired, i.e. the total administrations combined across content areas and grades. For example, if you wish to test 18 students in Reading only, then enter 18; if you wish to test 30 students in Reading (16 at grade 8 and 14 at grade 11) and 40 in Math at grade 10, then enter 70 (30+40) for the total number of student administrations.
** Typically each test section requires 45 minutes for administration. Reading and Mathematics tests contain 3 test sections/parts. Enter the number of sessions you would allow for testing each day during the testing window.
