Interim Assessments

Interim assessments provide information that can be used to identify students who would benefit from special interventions, enrichment, or other changes to their current educational programs. Interim assessments do not give specific feedback. However, they do identify students who need help making progress, which can help teachers tailor instruction to students’ needs and improve programs. Students take this type of assessment two to four times a year.
